New sockeye limit announced
Fisheries and Oceans Canada announced that effective August 23 at 12:01 a.m., until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, the daily limit for sockeye salmon has been decrease to one per day, from two per day in the mainstem waters of the Skeena River from the mouth upstream to a point immediately above the confluence with the Babine River.
